Brian Viard 教授

   布莱恩博士2000年毕业于芝加哥大学商学院。毕业后即以战略管理学助理教授身份进入斯坦福大学商学院任教。他的研究兴趣为产业组织经济学、竞争战略经济学、实用微观经济学等领域。

主要研究领域
布莱恩教授的研究方向主要集中在电信和软件等信息和技术产业的产品定价和战略。布莱恩教授曾经对软件的持续性版本如何定价,网络外在性对定价及软件质量的影响等问题进行过专门研究。在电信领域,布莱恩教授还对可变因素如何影响价格、产品如何进入当地电信市场并改变消费福利,以及在手机市场的竞争如何影响技术认可及定价等问题进行过专门评估。最近,他还对电信产品的回报计划在转移成本和价格歧视方面的有效性方面进行了研究。
